The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations is pleased to announce the availability of a position for a Driver. The Driver will work directly under the Defense Attache.
The Driver II will be responsible for the following duties:
i. Transportation of Officers and visitors, as well as the delivery and collection of letters and parcels as per instructions.
ii. Driving and operating Mission vehicles.
iii. Responsibility for fueling and cleaning of vehicles, as well as scheduling maintenance.
We are looking for a candidate who meets the following requirements:
i. Knowledge of the United Nations is welcome.
ii. Proven driving experience in New York City and the surrounding area.
The following working conditions apply to this position:
i. Proof of VALID identity documentation and U.S. work authorization is a MUST.
ii. Monthly working hours: 160 hours (typically from 9 am to 5 pm).
iii. Availability to work overtime or during the weekend when necessary.
