    Thanks for the suggestion, @Ben. The 7th edition APA manual did change on those rules for works by multiple authors. I've also read about the 7th edition's equivalent section 6.12 from a few reliable web sources about the APA 7th ed. (e.g., Purdue OWL). That rule is retained in the 7th ed.
