Here’s exactly where to find parenting books in Fortnite

Fortnite ’s getting all grown up. Week 7’s Legendary Quest concludes by asking players to collect parenting books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row .

This step of the quest rewards players with 30,000 XP and only requires that two parenting books be found in either Holly Hatchery or Retail Row.

However, we’re going to show you six possible locations spread across two points of interest.

Parenting books in Holly Hatchery

Parenting book location 1 : The first Parenting Book can be found in southeast Holly Hatchery.

You’ll find the first parenting book on the southeast side of Holly.

Go into this tall, stone house and you should see a book on the floor next to a shelf with a gnome on top.

Go inside this house. You’ll see it near a shelf with a gnome on top.

Parenting book location 2 : The second parenting book is in the northeast corner.

The second parenting book is located in the northeast corner.

You’ll see this house with a garage and a storage container out front. Break through the garage with your Pickaxe, and it’s in the corner of the garage next to a structure that looks like a fridge.

You’ll see the book in this garage, on the ground near the fridge.

Parenting book 3 : The third parenting book is in the yellow house to the northwest.

You’ll find the third parenting book inside a yellow house to the northwest.

You should see the book on the floor next to a bookshelf as soon as you enter.

You should see the book near a bookshelf when you enter.

Parenting books in Retail Row

If you’d like to complete this quest step in Retail Row instead, there are more than enough locations for you to do that.

Parenting book location 4 : On the northwest side, you’ll see a small, square chain-link fence area at the spot marked below.

The first parenting book in retail is outside, in the western part of the PoI.

The book will be on the ground here, towards the center of the area.

It’s on the ground in this fenced off area.

Parenting book location 5 : A fifth possible parenting book location is in the northwest corner of the PoI.

For the fifth location, head to the northwest corner of Retail.

Go inside this blue house, take a left, and you should see a parenting book on the floor.

Take a left when you enter this blue house.

Parenting book location 6 : The final parenting book location is here, towards the south of Retail.

The last parenting book is located in southern Retail.

Go into this stone house and go into the TV room off to the right. There’s a book on the ground behind the couch.

It’s in the back of the TV room in this brick house.

Collecting parenting books accounts for just the final step of the Week 7 Legendary quest in Fortnite Season 7. Here’s the full list of steps for those who might still need it.

Parenting Books in Fortnite

Here’s where to find and collect parenting books in Fortnite from Holly Hedges or Retail Row.

We’re onto week 7 of Fortnite chapter 2 season 7 which means we have a brand new set of Legendary quests. These quests will be followed by the epic quests tomorrow along with the new locations of alien artifacts to help unlock more styles for the Kymera battle pass skins.

There are a variety of different quests for week 7 and one of them requires players to collect parenting books from Holly Hedges or Retail Row. We’ve created a guide to help you find the locations of the parenting books in Fortnite as quickly as possible.

Parenting Books Holly Hatchery Fortnite Locations

There are at least three locations to collect parenting books at Holly Hatchery and four locations at Retail Row. The first location where you can find and collect parents books in Holly Hatchery is in the tallest house at the location on the east side of the location.

From the above location, head north up to the house with the double garage and a container on the right side. You’ll find more parenting books in the garage on the left side. Here’s the map location:

Here’s what the books look like in-game:

Head to the yellow house and you’ll find the parenting books to collect in front of you as soon as you open the front door.

Collect Parenting Books From Retail Row

You’ll find the first set of parenting books in Retail Row in the blue house on the left on the north-west side of Retail Row. It’s the final house on the west side of the location.

From the above location, you’ll find more books in the caged area that’s east of the house outlined above. Another book can be found in the house that’s opposite the Taco shop in the living room. Finally, you can find the last book location inside Book Mcguffin’s on the middle floor near the till.

In this guide, we’ll be running you through Fortnite parenting book locations for the week 7 challenge . Here’s where to collect parenting books from Holly Hatchery and Retail Row , so you can earn the 30,000 XP for completing this legendary quest.

All Fortnite Parenting Book Locations

There are six parenting books to be found across both Holly Hatchery and Retail Row, with three found in each. You only need to collect two books from either location to complete the challenge, but this guide will run you through all of them so you have plenty of options.

Holly Hatchery

Parenting book location #1.

Head to the house between the main store building at the center of the location, and the house with the soccer pitch next to it.

Go through the front door (east side of the house) and look for a stack of books next to the bookcase with the gnome on top.

Parenting Book Location #2

Next, go to the house in the northeast corner of Holly Hatchery with the orange container outside.

Go into the garage and you’ll find another stack of parenting books to collect by the fridge.

Parenting Book Location #3

Next up, go to the yellow house in the northwest corner of Holly Hatchery.

Head through the front door and you’ll find another stack of parenting books on the floor next to a bookcase.

Look for the little dumpster area with a chainlink fence around it on the west side of town.

Inside you’ll find a stack of parenting books randomly on the floor by the green electrics box.

Go to the blue house in the northwest corner of Retail Row.

You’ll find another stack of books on the floor in the room to your left when you go through the front door.

Finally, go to the house in the south and center of Retail Row, by the basketball court.

You’ll find another bunch of parenting books on the floor by the sofa on the ground floor here.

One of this week’s Fortnite Legendary challenges requires players to collect Parenting Books from either Holly Hatchery or Retail Row to earn a sizeable chunk of XP.

Most of the weekly challenges so far in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 have been focused around the alien invasion taking place across the Island, with more intriguing story-driven objectives than we’ve seen in recent seasons.

Having said that, we’re not quite sure what the relevance of Parenting Books to the current season is, but players will no doubt just be happy to have another opportunity to earn some more XP and level up their Battle Pass .

Here’s everything you need to know about collecting Parenting Books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row, including details of where to find them along with a couple of handy location maps.

Where to find Parenting Books in Fortnite

There are two locations you can visit to collect Parenting Books in Fortnite: Holly Hatchery or Retail Row. Holly Hatchery is the same location as Holly Hedges, except it’s now been taken over by alien invaders.

Parenting Books are purple and can usually be found inside houses near bookcases – but not always. You’ll need to collect two of them to complete this challenge, and we’ve got locations of them all below.

Parenting Book locations at Holly Hatchery

Here’s where you can find all of the Parenting Books at Holly Hatchery in Fortnite:

• In the hallway of the yellow wooden house northwest of Holly Hatchery.
• Inside the garage of the grey house at the northeast of Holly Hatchery.
• On the living room floor of the house east of the Holly Hatchery garden center.

You might have a hard time looking for Parenting Books here as the aliens have taken over, meaning there are NPC enemies and alien biomes that will cause chaos. We’d recommend going to Retail Row instead.

Parenting Book locations at Retail Row

Here’s where you can find all of the Parenting Books at Retail Row in Fortnite:

• On the ground floor of the blue house at the northwest of Retail Row.
• Inside the square fenced-off area at the center of Retail Row.
• In the living room on the ground floor of the white house south of Retail Row.

Once you’ve collected two books, you’ll have completed the challenge and earned yourself 30,000 XP to contribute to your Battle Pass. Hopefully, you’ll unlock some more Battle Stars in the process!

The final Legendary challenge of the week requires players to snag two parenting books from either Retail Row or Holly Hatchery.

There are plenty of locations to find books, so players should be able to complete this challenge quickly by visiting only one location.

Where to Collect Parenting Books from Retail Row or Holly Hatchery

Holly hatchery parenting book locations.

The parenting book locations in Holly Hatchery are as follows:

• The south-eastern house next to the bookshelf as players walk through the door
• The house across the street from the first on a bookshelf right inside the front door
• The infected house in the north-east of the town, in the back righthand side of the garage
• The yellow house in the north-west of the town, right inside the entrance next to a bookshelf

Retail Row Parenting Book Locations

The parenting book locations in Retail Row are as follows:

• The north-western house in the room to the left of the entrance
• The fenced in location near the center of Retail Row, northwest of the diner
• The southernmost house in the room to the right of the entrance

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 | Collect Parenting Books From Holly Hatchery or Retail Row

In Fortnit e Chapter 2 Season 7, one of the Legendary Quests players have been asked to complete is one where they need to collect Parenting Books from either Holly Hatchery or Retail Row.

As with all Quests where you need to collect specific items, knowing where to find them is the biggest challenge. 

To help save you time, we’ve put together a quick guide on where to collect parenting books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row in Fortnite! 

The main question when it comes to the Legendary Quest “Collect Parenting Books From Holly Hatchery or Retail Row” in Fortnite as part of the Week 7 Challenges is where to find these Parenting Books.

In the map image above, we’ve circled spots where we found Parenting Books at both Holly Hatchery and Retail Row. 

We found most of these Parenting Books inside houses, with Holly Hatchery having them in homes that aren’t in low gravity areas, making it easier to discern which homes may have Parenting Books and which won’t.

With Retail Row, you can find Parenting Books at McGuffin’s (which makes sense, it’s a bookstore), and you can also find them inside various homes same as Holly Hatchery. In total, you’ll need to collect two sets of Parenting Books, and you can collect them from either location.

Both locations have at least three Parenting Books scattered about, with Retail Row being the easiest location to grab Parenting Books based on our personal experience with the Quest. 

If you’re wondering what these Parenting Books look like exactly, here’s an image of exactly what you need to be on the lookout for when attempting to complete this Legendary Quest. 

As with other Quests where collectible items are involved, the collectible items in question have a blue glow to them which you can sometimes see from outside of a home or building. Keep an eye out for blue light and it should lead you right to where the Parenting Books are.

When you’ve collected two stacks of Parenting Books from either Holly Hatchery or Retail Row, you’ll have completed the Quest, earning yourself a nice 30,000 XP in Fortnite.

Fortnite Parenting Books in Holly Hatchery

Players can find Parenting Books in three possible locations at the popular Fortnite POI of Holly Hatchery. One of the books might lie on the floor of a stone house in the South-East corner of Holly Hatchery. Players will have to look for a stack of books, and in this location, they might notice a gnome near it.

Additionally, they can also find it on the North-East corner of the map inside the massive house with a garage. Fans can enter the garage near the storage container by breaking it and then find the book near the room’s corner. Along with that, it’s also present in the yellow house on the North-West corner of Holly Hatchery. The book will be visible on the ground near the bookshelf.

Parenting Books in Retail Row

Retail Row also has three possible locations of the Parenting Books as well. Players can find it near the fenced area on the North-East part of the region. It’s also available on the floor of the blue house in the North-West corner of Retail Row. Finally, players can also hope to see these Parenting Books in the brown brick house on the South-West corner of the POI. Inside the house, fans can notice them on the ground behind the couch.

Players shouldn’t have a hard time completing this quest as they only need to find two. However, these locations can be unreliable as the books won’t spawn there all the time. In the end, players can hope that Holly Hatchery or Retail Row spawns at least two Parenting Books from the three locations to make their lives easier.

Fortnite has introduced this new weekly challenge mission in the 7th week of season 7. Furthermore, there are a total of seven locations where players can find these books. All of them are either in the Holly Hatchery or in the Retail Row on the map of Fortnite.

There is another mission in the game where players have to collect alien eggs and complete the mission. Additionally, to parent, those eggs players need to collect these books. However, there are a total of seven locations, but the mission can be completed if players find any four of those.

Books in Holly Hatchery

There are a total of two locations for now in the holly hatchery to get these books in Fortnite. Furthermore, one of the houses on the top left with yellow in color is having a stack of books in the living room.

Players can just walk to it and collect it by pressing the specific key.

The second location is on the top right house which has a garage with a couple of containers in it. The Parenting books of Fortnite can be found lying on the ground.

Books in Retail Row

However, there are a total of four locations found till now in the retail row to collect the books. Moreover, one house on the left of the basketball court has one of the stacks of books.

The second one can be found when we move towards the lazy lake. The house which is the at one also has those parenting books of Fortnite.

Another one is kept in the house which is in front of the Taco Shop. Players can move into the living area of the room to collect the stack of books.

By collecting at least four of them, players can complete their weekly challenge for the battle pass and will get 45 XP points. Also, they will be able to unlock the skins available in the battle pass.

Where to Collect Parenting Books from Holly Hatchery or Retail Row in Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 7 Week 7

Books on Parenting for the Bushranger?

Book collection has been one of the most straightforward quests in Fortnite . One of the legendary challenges in week 7 requires the players to collect parenting books scattered all over Holly Hatchery and Retail Row.

While the quest is simple, the challenging element lies in locating these books and collecting them safely to complete the quest. Players need to get two books out of all the places mentioned here to complete the quest and earn 30,000 XP in Fortnite .

Let us start with all the parental books present in Holly Hatchery. Here is a map for the same:

• For finding the first pile of parental books, players will have to go to the southern side of the point of interest and look for the green coloured house with a garden. The house is not in the alien zone. Therefore, it is easy to recognize. Players can walk in and look to their right to find the item.
• Next, players need to go to the adjacent house to the green house and open the door to find the second set of parental books.
• Then, make your way down the street towards the northern direction and you should see a house under the alien zone. Enter the alien zone to spot an orange cat food container in the front of the building. Break the garage's door and make your way to the end of the place to find the books hidden beside the fridge and cat food.
• Last on this location, move towards the northern side of Holly Hatchery to find the yellow building. Enter that house and you should see a pile of parental books on the floor beside the bookshelves.

Holly Hatchery is very crowded with NPCs and players landing frequently here to get good tier loot. If you wish to do the challenge peacefully, then you can visit Retail Row point of interest. Here is a map to show all the locations of parental books there:

• First, move towards the eastern centre of the point of interest and enter the main store. Players should spot a pile of books lying on the ground near the bookshelves.
• Then, move towards the west in the point of interest, locate the immobile bus on the street, and enter the next house. After walking in, look towards the right and the parental books should be near the sofa.
• Next, exit that house and move towards the northern side to find a metal cage with an electrical box in it. Go inside the cage and the books should be in the middle of the box.
• Last, run towards the north-western side of the point of interest and find the blue house. Once you locate it, enter the house and look to your left to find the last pile of books in the vicinity.
