  • Check that you’ve paid your bill. If your account is overdue, your service may have call barring active. To have it lifted, give us a call on 1300 650 410 .
  • If you’ve placed an outgoing call bar on your device, dial GSM codes to remove it. 
  • Check that you don’t have call diversions set up on your service. Dialing short code 1213 will remove any call diversions on your number.
  • Make sure you have Do Not Disturb mode disabled. Some phones have features that block calls during certain hours of the day.
  • Check that the number trying to call you isn’t blocked from calling your service.

Environmental factors are the most common reason for calls dropping out. Your signal strength can be affected by:

  • Your distance from a mobile tower. Local terrain, such as nearby buildings, can obstruct the signal from the mobile tower.
  • The building you’re in and what level you’re on. Coverage is reduced in basement levels and elevators, as well as in buildings with concrete walls or metal roofing.
  • Travelling in a moving car or train. Going through tunnels can also affect the signal.

Here’s what you can do to avoid calls dropping out:

  • If you’re outdoors, a spot with a clear eye line to the horizon will provide the best coverage.
  • If you’re indoors, a spot close to a window will provide the best coverage.

Sending and receiving text messages.

  • Make sure your inbox and sent messages folders aren’t full. You can free up space on your device by deleting old messages.
  • If you’ve placed an outgoing or incoming message bar on your device, use GSM codes to remove it. 
  • Check that the message centre number is correctly set in your device as +61 415 011 501.
  • If you’re using an iPhone, check if the message is being sent as an iMessage . Try switching off iMessage in device settings.
  • If the number you're trying to message starts with 19, it's a Premium SMS number. Check that you haven't blocked access to Premium SMS .
  • Send yourself a text message. If it won’t send, you might have message barring on your phone.
  • Check that the number sending the message isn’t in your blocked contacts or spam list on your device.
  • If you’ve recently switched from an iPhone to a non-Apple device, make sure you’ve switched off iMessage .
  • If your device has been switched off or out of coverage for a period time, undelivered messages will expire 3-7 days after being sent. 

Sending and receiving picture messages.

  • Make sure picture message settings are correctly set up on your device. If you’re using an iPhone, make sure MMS Messaging is switched on.
  • Check that your device has mobile data switched on . 
  •  If you’re using an iPhone, check if the message is being sent as an iMessage . Try switching off iMessage in device settings.
  •  If you’re in a regional coverage area and using an Android or Windows Phone, switch on data roaming .
  • Send yourself a picture message. If it won’t send, you might have message barring on your phone.

It’s possible that your device is displaying signal bars even when there is limited network coverage. The signal bars displayed on your device aren’t always a true indication of signal strength. There is no universal standard for determining signal strength, which means the methods of measuring network coverage differ between manufacturers.   • The easiest, fastest, and most reliable fix is to turn on and off Airplane Mode on your Android and then restart it.
  • Take out, clean, and reinsert your SIM card to refresh that connection.

Step 1 Toggle Airplane Mode.

  • Go to Settings > Network & internet/Connection & sharing > Airplane Mode and tap the switch to toggle it on and off again. You can also swipe down from the top of your screen and tap the airplane icon. [2] X Research source

  • To restart your phone , press and hold the Volume Down and Power button for about 10-20 seconds or until your phone shuts down (the screen will be black). Let go of those buttons, and you should see the Android logo as your phone restarts.
  • Tip: Sometimes, turning your phone off rather than just restarting can do the trick. A restart will sometimes hold onto old info while a turn off/turn on will give the phone an actual full refresh.

Step 3 Remove and clean the SIM (if you have one).

  • To remove your SIM card , turn off your phone, then use a small, pointy tool, like an unbent paperclip, to eject your SIM tray. After the tray is ejected, gently remove your SIM card, and clean it (wipe down the metallic surface with a disinfectant wipe or a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol). Vodafone AI network

Vodafone’s ‘Anomaly Detection System’ is based on technology developed by Nokia Bell Labs and uses intelligent algorithms to sense when a mobile cell area is exhibiting unusual behaviour that could affect network quality.

The service is hosted on Vodafone’s cloud platform, which provides engineers with detailed analytics that will allow them engineers to fix problems such as congestion, interference, high latency, and call quality more rapidly. But the system will also be able to proactively address issues itself.

So far, Vodafone has deployed the system across 60,000 4G sites in Italy and will roll it out across Europe by early 2022 as part of a wider network transformation. The expectation is that the company will be able to automatically detect 80% of all network and capacity issues.

A faulty Wi-Fi connection doesn’t have to ruin your day. There are plenty of ways you can restore a lost internet connection. Follow these network troubleshooting tips and you’ll be up and running in no time.

1. Check Your Settings

First, check your Wi-Fi settings. Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi . Switch Wi-Fi to the On position.

Phones and tablets also have settings that turn Wi-Fi on and off. Make sure that it is turned on so you can connect to the network.

You also want to check if Airplane Mode is turned on.

2. Check Your Access Points

Check your WAN (wide area network) and LAN (local area network) connections. In layman’s terms, these are the Ethernet cables that go to and from your router.

If you suspect that the cables are the culprit, try swapping them out with new ones.

3. Go Around Obstacles

Walls, furniture, and other obstructions can be the reason why you’re unable to go online. Moving closer to the router can re-establish the connection. If moving closer to the router does not solve the issue, then at least we can remove it from the list of suspects.

4. Restart the Router

Sometimes restarting the router can help fix connectivity issues. This is even truer in cases where the router has not been turned off in a while. A quick restart can jolt the router back into working like it used to.

If that doesn’t work, you might also consider resetting the router. But only do so if you’re okay with it being restored to its factory settings. You will have to reconfigure everything including the SSID and password.

5. Check the Wi-Fi Name and Password

Check the network name (otherwise known as SSID) and password of the network connection. If you’re used to connecting automatically when in range of a router but are no longer able to, changes may have been made to the network while you’re away.

It could be as simple as administrators updating the password or the SSID could have been changed to a different one.

6. Check DHCP Settings

Routers are usually set up as DHCP servers. This setting lets computers join a network automatically. With DHCP turned on, users will no longer have to mess with IP Address and DNS Server settings manually.

To edit your DHCP settings, go to Windows Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi . Under Wi-Fi , click Manage Known Networks . Select a network and click Properties .

Under IP Settings , click Edit . From the drop-down menu, select Automatic (DHCP) .

Tyler Conklin, who signed with New York from the Vikings in 2022, hasn't had a positive receiving DVOA in six NFL seasons and ranked 43rd among qualifying tight ends in the past two seasons. ... New York should consider bringing in quarterback Aaron Rodgers' former Green Bay target Robert Tonyan, who is still a free agent."

As for the Jets current personnel, Conklin may not measure up to Schatz's DVOA metric, but he totaled 1,173 receiving yards over the past two seasons in spite of New York's quarterback instability. It is worth noting that he did not find the end zone in 2023 and has only three touchdowns in 34 games as a Jet.

Jeremy Ruckert, a 2022 third-round draft pick, appears in line to be the Jets TE2. Seemingly more of an effective run blocker than most, Ruckert has yet to show the ability to contribute as a pass-catching threat. He has 17 receptions on 24 total targets in 24 games.

New York is scheduled to kick off OTAs Phase 3 next week with practices on May 20-21.
