Freshman: It's important to acknowledge that college experiences vary greatly from person to person, and while some may face challenges or difficulties, others may find their time in college to be transformative and rewarding. Instead of focusing on the negatives, perhaps you could consider exploring constructive criticism or discussing specific areas for improvement in the college experience. This approach allows for a more balanced and productive discussion that can lead to positive changes and improvements in the education system. If you have specific concerns about your college experience, it might be helpful to address them directly with the appropriate channels within your institution or seek support from counselors or advisors. Remember, challenges are a natural part of any educational journey, and there are often resources available to help navigate them. ... Read 1,358 reviews

University of South Florida

Graduate Student: University of South Florida is by far the safest campus across Florida that I have known. The campus police are on guard 24/7 and they notify all suspicious activities to students immediately as soon as they take place. The professors at USF are also very open and friendly. They can be very strict sometimes in terms of academics; however, they are mostly easy to get along with after class. Most of these professors also uphold good personal values and principles, which is very respectable. The students here are mostly down-to-earth and chill; there are seldom serious conflicts between students across all majors. The food on campus might not be the best, but it still provides us with a lot of convenience in terms of the location of several dining halls. Above all, I personally recommend USF because I think it is a college that offers a good learning experience and very little stress outside of academic reasons. ... Read 7,540 reviews

Freshman: I have a great overall experience at the University of Colorado Denver. The faculty and staff were knowledgeable and supportive, which made my learning experience enjoyable. The campus facilities were well maintained and provided a conducive environment for studying. One thing I particularly liked about the university was the diverse range of courses and programs offered. This allowed me to explore different areas of interest and tailor my education to my career goals. The professors were experienced professionals in their fields, and their expertise enriched the learning experience. In terms of improvements, I would like to see more opportunities for student engagement and extracurricular activities. It is nice that there is a shuttle bus stops that will trasport you to other campuses or to your designated parking spot. The dance department isn't the strongest, while it's a small program, it is still in working to improve. The administrators do their best to provide the dancers with opportunities that extend beyond the university to help prepare us for the professional work field of dance. The program also provides a lot of diversity in dance by offering classes ranging from ballet to African dance. The University has free parking available for students in a further lot just outside of campus, and they provide transportation in and out of campus by bus, which is great when parking is full. WSU is always looking to improve and wants to hear the students' voices! Resources like Wifi, the gym, a stress relief center, computer labs, math tutoring, and writing labs are offered. They even host job fairs regularly. This is a beautiful college campus that is lively and full of opportunities! ... Read 2,255 reviews

Sinclair Community College

Dayton, OH •

  • • Rating 3.87 out of 5   1,217 reviews

Alum: AFFORDABLE TUITION, GREAT PROFESSORS, LITTLE HASSLE. Sinclair fits very well into a working professional's schedule. With the bevy of classes offered online and at multiple times in-person, this college has classes to fit around just about any schedule. Even without a scholarship, the classes are pretty affordable; Sinclair prides itself (rightfully) for having the lowest tuition rates in Montgomery County. My only reason for leaving out a star is the automotive program, which was where I started. The department chair, Justin Morgan, has a very quick temper. In addition, the automotive classes don't teach anything you can't learn from an actual auto repair shop. Once I switched to Legal Studies, I felt SO MUCH BETTER and see the reward in real time. The gen ed classes are also a lot of fun, especially when taken online. All in all, if you're looking to skip the student loans and the drama of a 4-year college, Sinclair is just the school for you! ... Read 1,217 reviews

Freshman: The option to take classes online without specific times needed to attend is a wonderful option and allows me to keep working full time while attending college. Certain instructors have significantly more difficult classes which can be viewed as unfair. Luck should not play a factor in a students ability to graduate, and it's impact should be minimized. ... Park University

Parkville, MO •

  • • Rating 3.8 out of 5   1,307 reviews

Freshman: My experience at Park University has been mostly positive. I appreciate the flexibility of their online classes, which allows me to balance my studies with other commitments. The professors are generally supportive and knowledgeable, and I've enjoyed interacting with fellow students from diverse backgrounds. However, I do wish there were more extracurricular activities available to enrich my college experience. Additionally, while the campus facilities are adequate, there's room for improvement, especially in terms of updating technology and enhancing recreational areas. Overall, Park University provides a solid education, but there's potential for even greater student engagement and satisfaction with some adjustments to the extracurricular offerings and campus amenities. ...
